THE TUBEROSE FLOWER
I believe that no perfumer can fully capture or recreate something nature has taken millennia to perfect. In my opinion, the scent of a fresh tuberose flower is a living work of art… a perfect balance of notes begging to be inhaled. As I whiffed the blossoms throughout the day, and during the evening when their scent is at its strongest, I noticed elegantly orchestrated fruit notes of peaches and apricots, indolic jasmine, fresh wintergreen, and smooth coconut. What was most fascinating was how these notes re-arranged themselves throughout the day. Sometimes the fruit notes would be the strongest, while at others it was the fresh mint and indole notes. Occasionally, the perfume could easily have been mistaken for a gardenia, or even a tropical bouquet filled to the brim with coconut milk.
Vespertine is a perfume inspired by the beauty of fresh tuberose flowers and built to be a grand floral where all facets of this exquisite blossom have been highlighted and underscored.
